The SF Group Corporate Sustainability is practiced around social considerations. The key area of focus is Humanitarian Response. With that in mind, SF Group aims to contribute towards the Millennium Development Goals.

Till date, some of the periodic initiatives undertaken by the SF Team include:

  • Every year, SF donates new clothing to the under privileged people. We arrange winter clothing for cold affected people through BGMEA and financial and humanitarian aid to flood affected people through Bangladesh Government.
  • SF Group always responds when a disaster or emergency situation takes place in the community. In recent pasts, SF Group collaborated with BGMEA, Bangladesh Government and local resources to help Rana Plaza victims and Rohingya Refugees.

Along with these, SF Group believes that doing something good for its employees can also add positive impacts in society. To make our employees' life enjoyable and their workplace standard better, we have taken the following initiatives.

  • Birthday Celebration of all employees.
  • Long term leave adjustment facility in case of critical illness and Holy Pilgrimage.
  • Financial Aid in case of personal events like own or children's marriage, higher education or critical healthcare.

Quality Management System

Quality is an integral part of SF Group’s Corporate Business Principles. These principles guide our actions to deliver products and services that are safe, compliant and preferred. They are essential for the achievement of our ambition to be recognized and trusted to offer products and services that enhance the quality of life and contribute to a fashionable world.

At SF, our commitment is to never compromise on the safety, compliance and quality of our products. This requires everybody to be engaged, to understand their responsibility and to be empowered to take action in order to protect individuals and families, our customers and our brands.

We follow the requirements of ISO 9001 and all of our Buyers' Technical Code of Conducts.

We apply 3 steps of quality checking technique to ensure production of flawless products.

  • 100% inspection in every process.
  • Random Quality Check by Roaming Quality Controllers.
  • AQL inspection in 1.5 standard by Quality Auditors.

Before shipping any good, all products go through mandatory in-line and final inspections by us and customers.

Beside the quality controller team, we have employed a large quality assurance team in each factory to ensure the standard operating procedures are being followed.

Lean Management

We believe, LESS is GOOD.

In many organizations, Sustainability only means commitment to Environment Preservation. In our organization, however, sustainability is the basic concept behind every business decision.

We like to be PRECISE, LEAN and DYNAMIC. To be so, we are actively working on the following things –

  • Machine Automation.
  • Modular Production Lines to achieve higher efficiency.
  • Process Automation through ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
  • HR Automation.


Ensuring employee safety is one of our prime concerns. From the very beginning of our business, we have taken all protective as well as 'creative destruction' steps to attain a higher standard in this respect.

We always re-visit the building, fire and electrical safety standards of all our existing facilities by local, and where necessary, international qualified agencies. As per expert recommendation, we continuously upgrade them. We have also made sure that all our new facilities are using latest technology conforming to local and international fire and building safety codes.

All of our facilities have been inspected by ACCORD and the reports can be found and downloaded from ACCORD website.

Social Compliance

SF maintains high standard of ethical business behavior in every aspects of conducting business and its day to day operations. In our work places, we adopted zero tolerance policy against –

All of our facilities are well equipped with fully elected Participation Committee, Safety Committee, dining & canteen facilities, fully functional child care rooms, medical centers with full time doctors, nurses and medical assistants and comprehensive Fire Fighting, Rescue & First Aid Teams.

We follow BSCI, SEDEX and buyer Code of Conducts (H&M, C&A, Benetton, Carrefour, MotherCare, Lid'l etc.) to ensure a safe and sound working environment in all of our factory premises.

Security Compliance

All of our factory premises are monitored by CCTV and guarded by trained security personnel. We follow all procedures of C-TPAT to ensure premise, personnel and product safety.

Green Initiative

We are mindful of our responsibility for reducing the environmental impacts of our business operations. Our key green features are –

  • Zero Discharge of waste water through fully biological ETP.
  • Sustainable Chemical Management System.
  • Rain Water harvesting.
  • Less water wastage by 3R – Reduce, Recycle and Reuse.
  • Plantation and vegetation on more than 50% of factory area.
  • Less energy usage by LED lighting.
  • Less carbon emission.
